Don Van Vliet, known as Captain Beefheart, had 2 singles released on A&M in 1966. The album he recorded was shelved until 1984. Producing these sessions was David Gates, who later became lead singer of the soft-rock group, Bread. Quite a contrast from Beefheart's hard-edged blues featured on these records. |
