I graduated from Florida State University in December 1989 with a BS degree in Elementary Education and was very unaware of what was in store for me. I married in early 1990. I have always enjoyed being around children, so in 1990 I started teaching 6th grade followed by 3rd grade for two years. I was finally getting comfortable with teaching when I found out I was expecting triplets. I was then put on bed rest for the rest of my pregnancy which led me to take medical leave for the rest of that year. I delivered full term triplets in 1994 two boys and a girl we all came home from the hospital in two days. Life was busy but fulfilling so I became a full time MOM for 3 years. I finally decided to go back to teaching and this time it was in 4th grade. After completing that year my husband was transferred to Illinois and I became a stay at home MOM again and in June 2000 we had our fourth child which led me to believe that my children need me at home until our baby starts Kindergarden.
I am back at school to keep my teaching certificate current until it is time for me to teach others children. Until then I enjoy teaching my own four children!
