'Twas The Night Before Christmas
New Page 1

'Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house and not a creature was stiring except a little mouse.

He sat on the sill of the window pane and crossed his hands and started to pray.

'What I want for Christmas my dear Lord, is to get away from this cruel world. I don't want t to run and hide all day, I don't want to worry about where I play. I don't want to be discouraged because of what I am. So what if I'm different, I am who I am! But I would like to be a real man.'

Tears rolled from his cheeks has he paused to speak. He stared out the window so little and meek, as he started to seek for a helping hand that would just let him understand.

Then a voice came from above, 'Today is a day of giving, joy and love. 'It's all very difficult for you to see, but today is a day to just leave it be, because today I was born to set you free and today I will take away all your worries and poverty.'

'This day isn't for gifts and cute little nicks, today is for us to remember and be able to stick together, it's not all about money you see, there is more to the world then just you and me.'

'I'm afraid you asked a difficult question without recollection of what to do, but timings not right, it's okay you see, just go on to bed and fall asleep.'

So the mouse said okay and now he understands what the true meaning of Christmas is and went off to sleep with dreams of someday being a real man.
