| Summer Dance |
|
I saw you and it was like the moon turned to
silver. Lighting the world into a mystic silver dream. I have never seen anyone
as beautiful as you, and I wonder can this be true. Am I really here? In fear
that the night might end, I move forward and pinch myself to see if I am awake.
I take your hand and we move to the floor, the door has been opened and our
souls connect and the music takes us to flight. I ask God to please let this
night last, as we move fast then slow to the rhythm. Not missing a beat, as the
sweet perfume from your body, intoxicates my mind. I loose track of the time
that no longer seems precious, and let the rhythm take us, we begin to move as
one, while the sun comes. And we dance till there is no longer a summer night. Penned By, Tressie George Florida © copyright, 2002 (all rights reserved) |
