A Message from the president and founder:
Greetings to the Lovely Ladies of The Circle...
I launched Circle of Friends Book Club with the goal of reaching and touching the lives of women and children through reading and fellowship. Since the inception of Circle of Friends, we have grown by leaps and bounds. We now have 13 chapters and growing. At the time of my vision, I did not realize the potential for the growth that we have expirenced. Who would have thought that an idea to get togeather to read and discuss a book would grow to this magnitude?
In our ever-evolving political, social and economic sphere, we have facilitated positive changes in our communities, through our sponsorships, contributions and sisterhood.
I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to all of the chapter presidents for accepting the challenge. I realize that this is not a simplistic task to acheive. I also know you are giving of yourself when you schedule and implement all activities for your group. A great big thank you to the hosting chapter. I'm sure you have enjoyed coordinating and making sure all bases are covered for the annual meeting. You are probably just as enthusiastic to pass the torch to the next host. Your ongoing celebration of camaraderie, passion, and spirit is to be celebrated.
Food for Thought: My emotional well-being is determined not so much by what happens to me, but by how I respond to what happens. I can choose to respond positively to life.
Sisterly,
Jennifer Copeland, Ed.S
