Hello! My name is Sr. Lovina Francis Pammit. I am a professed member of the Franciscan Sisters of the Sacred Heart (FSSH), a congregation of consecrated religious women, third order. I usually wear the San Damiano crucifix similar to the picture on the left to identify me as an FSSH.
Hello readers! I used to teach Spanish to grades 5 through 8 at St. Joseph School in Libertyville, IL. I am no longer at St. Joe's because I am now the new Vocation Coordinator for my community. However, I have retained the information here for you to use as a model for your very own websites. Buena suerte!(good luck!) My new ministry involves developing a culture of vocations in the Church and inviting new members to my congregation. I have been learning new things in technology for advertising and also for educating others about different vocations. For fun, I sing with the WoodSong Choir at the Motherhouse campus Queen of Angels chapel. I love to sing in harmony with the group. I think it's a very fulfilling way to serve in a parish.
I am currently working on my master's degree in teaching through
Dominican University. I have designed this webpage as part of my assignment for my EDU 560 (Educational Technology) class. I am maintaining it as a model for other students. I hope you find my website helpful.

Philosophy of Education
My goal as an educator is to provide a holistic approach to learning that develops the student's mind, body and spirit. I want my students to think critically and independently, make decisions, and take responsibility for their actions.

I believe that as instigators of social change, schools and educators must encourage students to find solutions and alternatives to societal problems where current systems have failed. Educations should equip students with skills to do well in society and to be proactive in effecting change in the system.
