| ALTTP Walkthrough Part IV: Light World Level 3 | ||||||||||
| Getting to Light World Level 3: Starting at the cave entrance jump off the ledge now head north until you reach a fork. At the fork head east, at the next fork head south. When you reach the next fork head north. Now head over to the old man, with the old man head through the east door. In this room head east while avoiding the hole, when you reach a fork contiue going east. Now at this new fork head south, then at the next fork head west then go south through the south door. Now take the old man east until he goes in his cave, follow him inside and talk to him to get healed. Now go north in his cave to travel to the east door. In this new room head south, then south east, then east, then north, finally travel through the east door. Now that you've gone through the east door head east, then south east, then east and south through the south door. You are now outside and have avoided losing some health, from here head west, and north west, then travel north up the stairs. Once up the stairs head east, then south east, then east, then north east, then east into the warp. You have now entered the dark world but until you recieve the moon pearl from the Tower of Hera (which is Level 3) you can't be a person, only a bunny. From here its pretty straightforward just head west until you reach the Playstation Controller wannabe circles with two guys fighting on them, and use your magic mirror. You have now entered the Light World once again and are on top of the plateau now grab the heart piece next to you and jump off the north side to get to Level 3. Level 3 is to the north east of here. Now climb up the stairs and ready yourself for Level 3. LEVEL 3: Okay slash the red orb and the blue walls will dissapear. Good, now that you've done that head west down the stairs. Down here the goal is to get the key, killing the monsters isn't necessary but with the pink skeleton be careful because if you try to hurt it, it will toss a bone at you, with it just jet really close and slash maniacly and it will die. Otherwise you can kill it with your boomerang. Now head upstairs with the north stairs. Once upstairs hit the orb to the east to collapse the red walls to the north of the room. At the north of the room open the chest to recieve a dungeon map. At the north west is a locked door open it with your key. Now that you've made it downstairs, prepare yourself for a battle against the flying tiles. Basically just slash constantly in a space between two jars and slash non stop, until they are all gone. Now hit the orb if the blue wall is up and head east through the east door. Now that you've made it to this room, avoid or kill all the monsters and hit the orb to put down the south red wall to gain access to the south door. Now, head through the south door. In this south room kill both skeleton's or avoid them and light the four torches with your lamp. Once all four are lit open the chest to find the Big Key. Head through the North door. There is nothing in this room so head through the west door. But before you do hit the switch to take down the wall in the next room. There is no longer anything to do in this room other than slashing the orb to take down the wall upstairs (lucky for us.) so head up the north stairs. Now that you are back on the main floor head south, then south west and up the west stairs. In this room you have to fend off three jelly monsters just put yourself in a corner and slash or try to knock them in the holes. Once all of them are dead travel through the now open west door. In this new room kill off the 3 jelly monsters and then hit the star switches until there is floor next to the colored wall that is down, once there is travel through the north door by unlocking it with the Big Key. In this room you will be faced against several jelly monsters so sit back and slash. Once you have killed them off travel east and slash the orb to take down the wall making the stairs accessable. Now head up the north stairs. When you've gone upstairs make sure that you slash over the metal pipes and kill off the mosters before you throw the pots. Once all 3 are dead throw the pots and head west. In the middle of the room is a chest containing a compass take it. Now kill the fire breathing monsters and head up the stairs to the north west. Once upstairs head south and hit the star switch while avoiding the fire rope, now kill off all the jelly monsters and pick up pots in the pot formation to heal health and if there is a raised wall around them either back track and hit an orb or go up to the boss. Although before you go and fight the boss jump down the hole in the middle of the room to get to the big chest open it to recieve the Moon Pearl. Now hit the stars to the south to give a chunk of floor to walk on and head west to up the stairs. Now that your on the top floor again head east and up those stairs to the boss room. Up here you will here the all too familiar boss theme to fight the boss jump onto the platform in the middle of the room. Level 3 Boss: Moldrom: This boss will be your first challenging boss battle most likely. Okay, the key to beating this boss is to stay quick on your feet, and to slash his tail (keep in mind that when he gets super squimy aiming at his head might end up hitting his tail but no guarantees) once you've hit him six to eight times he will finally die which should come as a quick relieve. In this battle be very careful and memorize his patterns, avoid the hole in the platform and the edges of the platform at all costs. Once you've killed him you will warp outside. Once outside jump off the south ledge, when you've done so go west and then down the stairs the cave right next you will take you to the bottom of the mountain so enter it. Once inside the cave head north, then north west around the hole. Now head north around another hole, and west avoiding that hole once again continue going west while avoiding another hole to the north. Now head through the west door. Now head southwest for a short while avoiding all the holes, finally travel through the south door which leads outside. Once outside travel south past the small lake and head west until you reach the fortune tellers house now head north through the arch inbetween the trees to the north to enter the forest. Once in the forest head north then north west until you reach a house from here travel north through the left log then travel west from there and north through the north log. Once here travel west and south through the south log. Once here head west and north through the north log. You are now in the forest clearing where the Master Sword is located travel north and read the book of Mudora at the shrine then go to the back and press R to lift the sword. Wielding the Master Sword head south, through the south log. Now head through the south log. Now avoid the bandit and travel through the left most log and continue south until you reach two trees that seem to block the path but they don't and head through them. Now head south and you'll end up at the north end of the town.
