California law requires each spear hunter to obtain a California sport fishing licence with ocean enhancement stamp (can be obtained at the landing store). For such local marine species as clams and lobster regulations require the

diver to have a measuring device capable of accurately measuring the particular game. Buy it prior to your trip. For lobster season (October-March) and night dives get a dive light, chemical light stick or personal identification light. All food, non-alcoholic beverages, and air fills up to 3200psi are included on all multiple day trips. One day charters price not includes food, beverages, and air fills.
