The Legend of Zelda

The Very first Legend of Zelda... the one that sparked off the series that still exists to this very day, started.

In The Legend of Zelda, Ganon, The King over all Evil, Somehow broke free from Dark World, and set sights on The Triforce. His first port of call was the Beloved Princess Zelda, The Princess of Hyrule. Ganon's Attempts of Kidnapping the Princess was successful, although unfortunately for Ganon, Zelda Shattered the Triforce of Wisdom into 8 Pieces to try and save Hyrule. Link Swore he would recover those 8 Pieces for her, and Rescue Zelda from Ganon's Clutches, and defeat the Evil Tyrant

Zelda 2: The Adventures of Link

This Time, A Mysterious Sorcerer placed a spell upon Princess Zelda that causd her to drift into a Deep Sleep. Link, concerned, had found out that the sorcerer had Fled to the Ancient Ruins of the Great Palace. What he also found out was that the only way to Break the Seal was to replace the shards of the Magic Crystal. He was willing to do anything, and so he accepted the Challenge, Conquered it and once again saved the day by Defeating the Sorcerer.
