other than that, yet. This is only the first part. If I
post this now It should motivate me to finish it.

‘Who’d have thought we’d end up here again?’ Pete said to
Mac who was sitting next to him on his couch wrapped just
in a towel.
‘I know. It’s good though, isn’t it?’
‘It sure is, babe.’
‘Babe? Who you calling babe eh?’ She said playfully while
mock wrestling him to the ground.
‘Yeah I said babe,’ he replied before pulling her into him
for a passionate kiss.

QUITE SOME TIME EARLIER – at the factory

‘Come on everyone. This is important. We really need to get
this one done, on time and on budget!’
‘Awwww Mac…’
‘Yes Pete?’
‘You know you shouldn’t restrict my creative capabilities.
It’s in the best interest of the rest of the team too, you
know.’
‘And how is that?’
‘Well, put it this way. If I am grumpy, who is it that I
spend everyday of my life with eh?’
‘Yes Pete. Whatever you say. Now guys they are really
breathing down our necks on this one. We need to be in
their goods books at the moment.’
‘Yes Ma’am’ They all reply in unison.
‘Nice to hear you are listening to me for once. This is the
target.’ She points to a photo of an Asian man on the board
wearing an apron. ‘Jeromy Lo owns a Chinese restaurant,
the…’ Mac looks through her notes, ‘The Imperial.’
‘Hey, I know that place. That’s my favourite restaurant. I
go there all the time. They always have a Merry Christmas
and Happy new year sign in their window. The owner has the
cutest little daughter. She was just given a tickle-me-elmo
doll for her birthday and she takes it with her everywhere.
It is so cute.’
‘Have you finished yet Danni?’
‘Sorry Mac, she’s just so cute and it always laughs.’
‘Thank you Danni. We’ll get to her later. Back to the case.
J-Lo is believed to be involved in importing illegal
firearms. Danni, as you already know the target, you will
just be developing your relationship. Pete you and I will
be going in as a couple of drug lords looking to expand our
business. Stone and Ange, I know it’s a drag but you two
will be in the Com – Ve. Alright everyone, that’s it. Danni
you might want to go get some lunch.’
‘Mac, just because I’m p…’
‘At the Imperial.’
‘Oh, yep, onto it. See you guys later.’
  
Danni goes to the imperial where she orders her usual
lunch: A fried rice and three bananas. Stephanie, the
daughter of Jeromy, who is still carrying her
tickle-me-elmo doll, approaches her.
‘Hey Steph, come sit with me and have a banana, I know you
love them. I ordered one especially for you.’
‘Yes thank you Danni. Would you like a turn of elmo?’
‘Sure thing. What do I do?’
‘You just tickle him, like this.’
Danni and Steph become engrosed in their little game. So
much so that they do not notice Pete and Mac enter.

‘Hi. I’d like to see Jeromy.’ Pete demands as they enter.
‘Who may I say it is?’ the doorman asks
‘Nick and Nichola, it’s about the ‘add in the paper’ He’s
expecting us.’
‘Right this way then’

THE COM-VE
‘Hey Angie?’
‘Yep’
‘Have you noticed how Mac never puts us in as a couple
anymore? I wonder why that is?’
‘Hmmmmm Stone, maybe it’s because she wants the action with
Pete or maybe she thinks we’re involed and might get up to
something or maybe… Does it really bother you that much?’
‘Spose not. At least I get to be in here with you. So, you
wanna come to my house after for a beer?’
‘Sure, why not? We better get back to listening though.’
‘Yep sure cool.’

THE RESTAURANT
‘We’re here about a job’
‘Nick and Nichola?’
‘yep’
