Come on. What?? U don't believe us?? Why not?? Oh, ok, FINE THEN!! *Grumbles* Poopy heads. *Goes to sulk in the corner* The Christmas Factory "HEEEY MAAAAAAAAAAC" Oscar shouted "WHAT??" Mac groaned "Don't u think it'd be good if this place was more festive??" "Festive?" "YEP" "Why does it have to be festive??" "I dunno. ITS CHRISTMAS MAC." "Yes I realise that. what did u have in mind then?" Mac asked Oscar "A Christmas tree" Oscar proudly announced "A Christmas tree Oscar??? Are u ok??" "I'm fine Mac" "Well. we don't really need a tree Oscar. I mean this place is festive enough!" "No it isn't Mac. I don't see any tinsel or, or Christmas decorations" "Oscar.. Christmas cards. There are Christmas cards everywhere!" "Yeah Mac, two Christmas cards on your desk." "No I don't think so Oscar!" "But Maaaaaaaac..." Came the whinge from Oscar, "Why not??" "Because Stone, this is a workplace, and there is no need for it to be decorated. Why can't you just decorate your own place?" answered Mac, as she walked to her office, shuffling through some mail that had just been delivered. "Hey, come on, how much time do we all really spend at home, hey? And like we're ever there to decorate our own houses!" retorted Oscar. "Just this once Mac, even if it is to get Santa's little elf over there to shut up," Pete said, referring to Oscar. "See!" exclaimed Oscar, "even Scrooge wants the place to look nice." "Boys...." interrupted Angie, "be nice." "Yes MUM, " muttered Pete "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh, I'll think about it," offered Mac, closing the door to her office, not even bothering to look up. "Yessssssssssssssss," smiled Oscar, punching the air. "I haven't said yes," came the yelled reply from within the office "Yet...." added Oscar, with an evil grin. "Oh god, this is worse than the waffles." muttered Danni, head down, trying to stay out of it. Later that day........ "OSCAR STONE!!" screamed Mac, "MY OFFICE....NOW!" "Oh, did the little elfie do something wrong?" mocked Pete, as Oscar went slinking towards Mac's office. "Ah, you called?" said Oscar, sticking his head inside the office door, then quickly retrieving it, narrowly missing being hit by a shower of singing pens and pencils. "Be right back, Mac," called Oscar, returning seconds later, and walking boldly into the office, and sitting on the couch. "What the hell..." asked Mac, staring at Oscar, and trying not burst into fits of laughter. "Well, I didn't want to have to have pencils surgically removed from my head thanks," Oscar smiled, tapping his bike helmet that was now on his head. "Why did you want to see me anyway?" he quired, flipping up the face thingy. "I think you know.." Mac said, holding up a couple of cheep, festive looking pens and pencils, the song, Jingle Bells, omitting from the end of the pen, breaking the silence. "I was trying to get you into the Christmas mood," explained Oscar, looking guilty. "Besides, its only stationary, and...." he continued, being cut of by Mac. "Those pens of mine, are not just cheep little tacky things you buy at a garage sale, I'll have you know," lectured Mac, getting worked up, but being interrupted by a knock at the door. "Yeah, what is it?" yelled Mac, watching the door open slowly, and a hand creeping round the side, revelling a zip lock bag, full of pens and pencils, labelled 'Mac'. "You looking for these?" asked a scared sounding Angie. "Yeah, thank-you Ange," sighed Mac, calming down, as Angie walked quickly to Mac's desk, carefully placing the bag on the desk, and inspecting one of the festive pencils. "No problems, they were in the kitchen. What's all this?" she asked, starting to hum along to the tune of 'Rudolf the Red Nose Reindeer'. "Ah, that would be the reason Stone here is about to get his arse kicked," answered Mac, trying to hide her smile, caused by Oscar, who was having a rather hard time trying to get the helmet off his head. "What's that doing in here?" asked Angie, turning around, and seeing the bike helmet that was still attached to Oscar's head. "Ah, tell ya later," he said, smiling from underneath the half removed bike helmet. "Yeah, righto, I'll leave you to it," said Angie, giving Mac a questioning look, before closing the door. "Can I go now?" asked Oscar "Yeah, whatever, just, yeah, go......" Mac giggled at Oscar's retreating figure, who had decided to go and find Pete, to help him with his helmet. "What happened to you" Pete asked when Oscar asked him for help "I got blasted at by the dragon lady" Oscar replied as he looked into Mac's office. "The festive thing??" Pete questioned as he started helping Oscar with his helmet "Do you think this place should be more festive though Pete?? I mean, it'd be so much better if we had a Christmas tree over there" pointing to the corner of the factory "and a piece of string hanging above our desks with cards and tinsel and stuff hanging all over it, and……………." "Yeah yeah we get the idea Oscar" Pete said while Oscar was galloping around the factory like a mad man. "What made you get this frisky Oscar? Why do you want Christmas to be festive this year when last year you didn't even give a flying fig" Pete asked "People change Pete, I like change, change is good." "Change??" "Yeah, I know what else we could do. We could have a Christmas picnic one day, oh that'd be great! I'll bring drinks, you can bring the savoury snacks Pete.." "Picnic?? Oscar go home and go to bed! Now, go on! Seriously, your beginning to scare me!" Pete cried out. "Angie, don't you agree with me about being more festive?" "I dunno Oscar, I mean this place is festive enough!" "How, how are we festive?? Oh forget. I'm sorry I even bought the subject up!" The next day.... "HEY MAC" "WHAT?" Mac yelled back as Oscar approached Mac in her office "No need to shout.Thought about the 'making this place more festive' idea??" "Yes I have Oscar." "And??" "And I still don't think we need to make this place festive" "Oh come on Mac, please??" "Ok look, you arrange everything, set it all up." "YES" Oscar smiled as he began walking out of Mac's office "BUT." "But??" "If I don't like it, you have to pull it all down again and take it home" "Ok I'll need some money.." "What for??" Mac asked looking confused "Well, how am I gonna buy the decorations?" "You want it, you pay for it!" Oscar grumbled something as he left the door way of Mac's office "What was that Oscar??" "Nothing, nothing, nothing at all….." "Just keep it small, and all the rest. You know what I mean. And take Angie with you to get the decorations. I am NOT having a male decorating the place," she added quickly, looking up and grinning at Oscar, who had reappeared in the door. "Yeah, righto Mac, thanks. Well, Ange and I will be back in an hour then," replied Oscar. "Come on Ange!" yelled Oscar, across the factory, "we're going shopping!" an hour and 30 mins later…………….. "Where the hell have you guys been?" questioned Pete, as a very tired Angie, and Oscar, who was looking like he had been attacked by a band of elves, trudged into the factory. "Where the hell do you think?" snapped Angie, giving Oscar a death stare. "Oi, you're the one who wanted to go all the way out in the bloody sticks, thank-you very much," Oscar snapped back, returning the death stare. "Well, Mac DID say to make the place look good! You need a proper bloody decoration shop to do that, not TARGET!" she screamed, not breaking eye contact. "Righto, settle down, what happened to your getup and go, hey? "Looks like it got up and went," muttered Danni. "Yeah, righto guys, what do we have here?" asked Mac walking down the stairs from her office. "We have three feuding scrooges over there," answered Danni, pointing to Pete, Oscar and Angie, who were all eyeing each other off, "two broken computers………." "And a partridge in a bloody pear tree," finished Mac, under her breath. "Mmmhhm," agreed Danni, not looking up from her work. "OKAY!" yelled Mac, "everyone in the briefing room in five, someone bring me a coffee, hey?" she added, heading back to her office. "STONIE!!" screamed Angie, "that chocolate is NOT for YOU" "Actually," Mac's voice came from her office, "can you make that a couple of Panadol and a giant bottle of water please….." Five mins later…………………. "OKAY EVERYONE!!" yelled Mac, to get the teams attention, "listen up!" The room fell quite. "Hey look at that!" exclaimed Pete, jumping up and giving Mac a huge kiss on the lips. "OH, GET OFF!!" Mac screamed, as best she could since Pete had not removed lips, and trying to push him away. "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR?!?!" she yelled, going rather red, thinking about what the rest of the team just witnessed. "Mistletoe," Pete shrugged, pointing up above their heads. "Just couldn't resist," he giggled, being shoved back towards the seat. "You," she said, pointing at Pete, "stay there….." she finished running off, Returning seconds later with a pair of handcuffs, and cuffing Pete to his chair, before he could make a run for it. "OI," he protested, but Danni, who had moved over to sit in his lap held a finger to his lips, deciding to have a little fun. "Come on baby, we can have some fun with this later……." she smiled suggestively. "Can Ange and I borrow them after you guys?" Oscar piped up. "Guys, come on, do you want to decorate this place or not?" "Yeah, I guess so," Oscar sighed, sounding disappointed. "Okay, I'm gonna give you each of you a part of the factory to decorate, and whoever does the best job, will win two weeks of……………" Mac stopped for a second, thinking. "Oh, okay, I've got it. Two weeks of no paperwork," she finished "Oh gosh, are you serious??" squeaked Angie "Deadly. However, the person who does the worst job of decorating…." she paused again for dramatic affect, "will do the winners paperwork." She smiled proudly at her idea, ignoring the groans of the others. "Oh no," groaned Pete, knowing he was a horrible decorator. "Hey Mac," piped up Danni. "Yeah?" "What if we don't want to do it?" "Well, tough luck to you, then," "That's not very fair," "Life isn't fair, besides, it'll be fun," "So, who will be judging this little competition?" asked Angie, trying to get over the idea of having to do double the paperwork in two weeks. "Ah, well, I am," answered Mac, giving an evil grin, "of course………….."
