Remember that episode where Danni was shot in the shoulder/arm? She was in hospital 
afterwards and began to shake and cry from the shock, and Mac reassured her by hugging her.
 Well this is a continuance (Geez I like these continuance things don't I?) of that episode.

It is a short comedy scene more than anything else. PLEASE give me feedback,

I don't own Stingers or any of that. And... sorry to anyone who likes hospital food, 
or to those who make it, it's not really that bad; I'm just picking on it! 

-A Funny Scene

-The hospital where Danni is.

Danni is lying in bed after being shot. The gang goes to leave, with Mac last. 
Danni begins to shake and cry so Mac comes over and hugs her.
 "You'll be fine Danni, it's just shock."
Danni looks at her tearfully and mumbles thanks. 
"We'll be back to see you in the morning okay!" And with that, Mac leaves.

-The next morning around 11:00.

Pete - in jeans and a shirt, Oscar in pants and a rather bright shirt and Angie in a skirt and top
 - are gathered around Danni's bed. Mac is sitting on Danni's bed with her arm around her. 
"So... Danni? How's it goin?" Pete asked.
"Oh I'll heal I s'pose."
"How's the hospital food?" Stonie asked with a grin. 
"Oh it tastes like crap! Any chance of you guys bringing me some food before
 I die of starvation?" 
"Oh I think we could manage that. What do you reckon Stonie? Pete?" Angie said. 
"Yeah sure, come on." Pete says.
They all exit the room except Mac, who remains with Danni.
A few minutes later a nurse with a rather large bottom, and a very pointy nose,
 enters the room. "How we are today dear?" 
"Good thanks."
"Would you like a lunch menu?" she said to Danni. 
"Umm no thanks..."
"There is a sandwich shop downstairs if you'd like anything dear," she said referring to Mac.
"No, I'm right thanks," Mac replied.
"That'd be right, you haven't eaten anything since you got here. Typical young women these
 days don't eat a bloody thing, just so they can be thin.
 Then they wonder why they end up in hospital." 
"Excuse me, I am in here for a bullet wound, not anorexia."
"What, your boyfriend shoot at you or something?" the nurse said rudely.
"Oh lady get the pole out of your ass and your head out of the clouds! She's a police officer,
 she was shot on duty, now would you go away and leave her alone!" Mac yelled.
"Oh! I've never been so insulted, I can see when I'm not wanted." She left the room in a hurry. 
"Mac! I've never heard you speak like that!" Danni exclaimed. 
"Yeah, well, you know..." she replied.
All of a sudden Danni burst out laughing. "Did you see the look on her face?" 
Mac began laughing too as the others walked in. "What's so funny?" Peter asked.
"You should've been here a few minutes earlier, that was the funniest thing I've ever seen!"
 Danni said through giggling fits.
"Well tell us! We brought you Chinese, that alright?" Angie asked.
"Yep, I'm starved."
"Well anyway, get on with the story," Stonie said through a mouthful of honey chicken.
"Well this nurse, with a real big butt mind you, came in here to give me a lunch menu-" Danni began.
"-And she told me there was a sandwich shop downstairs if I wanted anything," 
Mac butted in to Danni's story.
"And I said, no thanks and Mac said she didn't want anything either.
 And she totally went off!" Danni continued. "She said, 'that'd be right you haven't eaten
 anything since you got here. Typical young women these days don't eat a
 bloody thing so they can be thin,
 and they wonder why they end up in hospital.' Or something like that anyway. 
I said 'excuse me but I am here for a shot gun wound.' And she said, 'what?
 Your boyfriend shoot you or something?' Then Mac went off at her,
 I've never heard her say anything like that before!"
Angie's eyes grew wide. "What did u say Mac?"
"Yeah, hurry up!" Pete said picking up the fried rice.
"She said," Danni began, finishing off her mouthful of sweet and sour pork. "She said, 
lady get the pole out of your ass and your head out of the clouds! She's a police officer,
 she was shot on duty, now go away and leave her alone!"
Pete began laughing; " I can just see our Mac yelling at a poor, defenseless nurse!" 
"You should've seen the look on her face," added Danni.
"Yeah, it was priceless!" Mac said, a huge smile on her face.
"What happened after that?" Angie asked.
"She left." Mac said dryly. "Would you hang around?" 
"I guess not," answered Angie feeling a little silly.
"Oh, I couldn't eat anything more!" said Danni, burping slightly. "Excuse me!" she said!
 "Anyone else full?" 
"Yeah... definitely..." was the reply from around the room. 
Pete began to clear everything up as the nurse walked back into the room. 
"You lot! Bringing that sort of food into this clean, healthy hospital. Get out, NOW!"
"Geez," said Pete. "The food in here is crap, you know it, I know it, do you want your patient
 to die of starvation or something?" 
"That's exaggerating and you know it!" The lady began to raise her voice.
"Pete settle down..." Angie said softly.
"That's right, settle down young man and get OUT!" The nurse had almost reached yelling point.
"Fine, we'll leave, and we're taking Danni and NOT coming back. None of us want to be in
 your crappy hospital anyway!"
And with that, they signed Danni out and left the hospital. Never to return...except for when 
Oscar was shot...and when Pete visited Colette...(He broke his vow! He should SO dump Colette!)
 Oh well!
