'Mocha' is our first horse baby at our place. She is a bay and white overo out of our mare Im No PlainJane and by Makin Quick Dreams. Mocha was born April 29, 2004 in the wee hours of the morning. (I went out and found her around 3am already up, nursing and fiesty!)
Update April 14, 2005:
Mocha came through the winter in style. As a yearling, she continues to grow and mature and is an absolute lover. Currently her skills include leading from both sides, picking up all 4 feet for cleaning and farrier, standing tied for grooming, loading by just being pointed at the trailer door and she has already toted around my light weight bareback pad snugged up to her belly and straps flopping in the breeze as she cantered around her pasture. Mocha is going to be a breeze to break to saddle!
