:: So, http://www.lowriseband.tk has
a new look! Hopefully you find the
new site easier to navigate, and
even more informative. If you can
think of something we should add,
get rid of, change, whatever...please
direct your comments to that brick
wall. KIDDING! You can email us
with any suggestions at any time. If
you or anyone you know is setting
up a show in your area, don't forget
to mention Low Rise! ::

:: Unfortunately there's a
few show cancellations in the near
future of Low Rise due to some
circumstances beyond our control.
We are beyond upset about missing
Naomi's big birthday bash tomorrow
night, but we hope everybody has
an amazing time without us. God
is gonna use this time, no matter
how much we don't understand it.
We'll keep you up-to-date and
hope to be rocking out again
REALLY super soon! ::

:: We've managed to squeeze
one show in before Christmas! We
really hope to see a bunch of people
at the Exeter Youth Center! If not,
Merry Christmas, Happy New Year,
and we'll see ya'll in January! Peace! ::

:: Sorry it has been a
while since this was last updated!
The holidays are so hectic, and we
hope all yours went extremely well.
December 19 in Exeter was probably
the most fun show yet-Thanks Annes!
We even got some media coverage!
To see it, click here. Also, our show
on January 3 in Seaforth was great!
We were with Minute Switch, One
Way Out and The Summer I Lost
Everything. Thanks to everybody
who came out to both shows!::

:: New pics added to the
"live" archive, thanks to Christine
Poelman! Check 'em out! ::
Friday, Febuary 6, 2004
:: Unfortunately, the show that
we were supposed to play at the
Stratford Youth Center with Minute
Switch and Drawing a Day has been
moved to the 28th...but we won't
be able to make it that day. We
encourage you to support the SYC
anyway, though!
In other news, Lydia is going to
be making an appearance with the
new band "Diffusion" tomorrow at
Parkview Church (89 speedvale ave)
in Guelph, doing some guest vocals
and what not. By all means, come
check it out and see Joel G,
Fighting The Fall, and some other
great local talent!

::Well as it turns out, plans
were made to be altered. Lydia's
guest appearance with Diffusion
turned into her own little set
when the band decided that they
weren't ready, so they backed out.
Lydia ended up playing a song she
wrote for her boyfriend in between
two bands. Minute Switch and JoelG.
Skyling Drama and Fighting the Fall
ripped it up. Great show all 'round.

::So, I haven't been on to post
an update in quite some time!
I'm really sorry about that,
although there really hasn't
been a whole lot to tell you.
Things have been slow in the
last 4 months, with the ex-
ception of one kick-ars coffee-
house in April. Well, it's
been really fun, and we've
grown so much over the past
year...but due to some shifts
in our lives, Low Rise is
officially disbanding this
June. The info on our big
finale is just to the right
so direct your peepers over
there and mark it on your
calendar. We REALLY need
you to be there! This is the
last time that you will ever
hear Low Rise as you know
them! So...no excuses. You've
got 15 whole days to plan
your carpools and make the
mix tape for your car.
