The Gamma Delta Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. emphasizes the importance of Community Service. It's imperative that an Alpha Man, or any other man blessed with and opportunity to move onward and upward, give back to the community and the children.
Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. is active in very important Community Service and National Programs targeted towards community service. These programs include Project Alpha, A Voteless People is A Hopeless People, and Go to High School, Go to College. The Gamma Delta Chapter takes part in these Programs through community service projects such as Rites of Passage, which a community service project done with the Pine Bluff Housing Authority, The Buddy Program, which is done with the Jack Robey Junior High School, St. James Tutorials for the children, and AMM (Alpha Minded Men) at Pine Bluff High.
