"Gomer"
"Gomer" was only 4 months old when he was taken to the shelter by animal control.  After 9 weeks on a "legal hold", he was finally allowed to be released.  He was very timid, not having experienced any kind of a life outside of his shelter cage.  Everything was new to him, but he was young and smart enough to learn that life had so many wonderful things in store for him!  "Gomer", shown above, at about 6 months old, on the day he was being adopted, Dec. 10, 2001.  He now lives in the country with a wonderful family, a lively Boxer brother named Archie, and many other animals.  His new family is dedicated to loving him forever and teaching him that life is very good when you're given a second chance!
