"Chester"

After being pulled
from a shelter in the upstate, with a terrible, but healing chemical burn
down his back (pictured above), Chester was adopted on Independence Day
2002!!! The Burzlers, of Surfside Beach, SC, fell immediately in
love with Chester and wouldn't let me leave their home with him.
The Burzlers have 2 cats, Sassy and Taylor, who didn't seem to mind this
strange monster invading their home TOO much. :) Taylor, who is a
cat that thinks he's a dog :), walked right up to Chester and batted
him in the face with his paw to remind him who was in charge there!
Chester was merely confused and curious, and never showed a bit of aggression
to the cats. Chester was welcomed by out of town family and friends
of the Burzlers when we arrived, and he just carried on graciously as though
he knew this party was for him! He will be kept very active with
this young family, and will probably be the next 4 legged surfing champion
after a few lessons from his new Daddy! Congratulations Chester and
family!

UPDATE!: 12/02
Chester earned his CGC (Canine Good Citizen) certification in November
after graduating top of his obedience class. Chester charms people
everywhere he goes, which is nearly everywhere! He's even been doing
some therapy work. We've also been told that Chester will no longer
be the "newest" member of the Burzler household, as Mandy and Jason are
expecting their first skin baby next summer! CONGRATULATIONS!!!

UPDATE!!!: 04/03 Chester wants to announce to all his
Boxer pals out there that he is a big "brother"!!!! :) :)
Congratulations Chester, Mandy, and Jason on the birth of their first skin
kid, Max! We are so very happy for you and wish you all the best!
Chester is already taking on the roll of "Nanny" as you can see from the
pictures below! Babies and Boxers are a match made in heaven as I'm
sure the Burzler family will agree! :)
