"Brody"
Our story began in June 2000, with "Brody", an 11 month old brindle male, found by Erin and her husband in downtown Charleston.  Brody had been hit by a car, we presume, and was running stray for approximately 3 weeks.  He was emaciated and lame on one rear leg, but managed to out run James for 15 minutes between 2 major highways.
After orthopedic surgery and lots of good food 5 months later, Brody was happily adopted into a new home with a Boxer brother named "Zeke", running like the wind, and totally renewed on all four legs.
