"Banner"
"Banner" was picked up as a stray by animal control and turned into a local shelter, where he stayed for 6 days.  No one claimed him or reported him missing, so LBR was called into action.  After treatment for kennel cough, being neutered, and a 2 month stay with Erin in foster care, Banner was adopted in June by the Halajcsik family.  These two wonderful people had lost their 6 year old "child", Buster, tragically to lymphoma, just two weeks before.  After deciding to not wait to give another Boxer a second chance at a great home, Banner has helped them keep the Boxer part of their hearts full since losing Buster.  Buster will live in their hearts forever, but our gratitude to this couple for giving of themselves and their lovely home to Banner, so that he may have a forever family now, too!
