| Trish's Belgium Waffles |
| 3 cups Wheat Protein Isolate 1.5 teaspoon corn starch 3/4 tablespoon baking soda 1/2 tablespoon baking powder 1.4ml liquid or 3/4 cup bulk splenda 9 eggs 1/2 cup each cream & water 2 tablespoon maple extract Preheat waffle iron. Sift all dry ingredients together, add eggs and liquids and mix until combined well and a smooth texture. Spray a 7" waffle iron with pam and allow to heat until light goes out. Drop by 1/3 cup onto the middle of the iron, and spread out a bit, close top...Leave lid closed until light once again goes out. and than leave on 1 minutes longer. My iron is old so you may or may not need the extra minute...sample them to find your perfect cooking time. Remove from iron and let cool on wire rack Once cooled, you may freeze them in a plastic zipper bag for easy storage. When you want to eat one, simply pop it in the toaster. These taste better than Eggo's. Yeilds 13 waffles. If made with liquid splenda recipe total net carbs 16.4g, or 1.25g each. |
