Shhhhh�Oh MY CarolynF's Got Sticky Buns

Serving Size: 12 (16.6 carbs for whole recipe without frosting) 1.38g each

3/4-cup butter -- melted, divided
1/2 cup Brown Sugar Twin -- (divided 1/2 & 1/4)
1/2 cup equivalent of liquid splenda (0 carbs) divided in half
1/3 cup atkins maple Syrup
1 cup wheat protein isolate (Or 3/4 cup wp1 & 1/4 cup wheat bran)
1/2 tsp corn starch
1 tablespoon baking powder
3 teaspoons cinnamon
1/4 cup cream
1/4 cup water
2 whole eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
1/2 cup walnuts -- chopped

Heat oven to 350* Spray 12 muffin tins with Pam. Combine 1/2 cup of melted butter with, 1/4 cup of brown S Twin, 1/4 cup equiv liquid splenda & maple syrup. Spoon equally into muffin cups. Sprinkle each cup with walnuts. Combine remaining ingredients.  Combine remaining wet ingredients with dry ingredients, don't over mix, only until
dry is all wet and spoon evenly into muffin tins.  Bake in upper portion of oven 18-20 minutes until lightly browned. Remove from oven and loosen edges, invert onto cooling rack.

Frosting Optional: Soften 1/2-c. cream cheese, sugar sub to taste, 1/2-tsp. vanilla, or 1/2 cup butter, 1 tbl maple extract, sugar sub to taste and whip until frosting consistancy, I usually add a tsp of zanthan gum to make this a tad thicker.
