Lo Carb Hot Cereal

Version #1
Compare to Flax-O-Meal brand cereal

3 tablespoons ground flax seeds
2 tablespoons wheat bran
4 tablespoons wheat protein isolate powder
1/2 cup boiling water
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
Salt to taste
Splenda to taste

Combine all dry ingredients in a bowl, mix in boiling water and stir until combined.  Makes 3/4 cup of cereal...only 2g net carbs.

Please do not microwave the cereal insted of boiling the water you will have a goo that you will not want to eat.

Try adding some apple spice extract to this for a yummy treat that is very close to apple cinnimon oatmeal.
Version # 2
1/4 cup ricotta cheese
1 egg
1/4 cup ground flax seeds    
2 tablespoon wheat protein isolate
Splenda to taste
Salt to taste
Spices, extract and or syrups of choice

Mix all in a small sauce pan over medium heat, stirring constantly until heated thru and coagulated together.  This is the yummiest of the 2 cereals. 

I add brown sugar twin and maple extract, its the yummiest.

Makes 3/4 cup with only 1.6g net carbs.
