This movie hit the theaters on December 11, 1998. The curse of the odd Star Trek movies came through here.

Star Trek: Insurrection, Summary:
This movie begins with an exciting battle sequence with Data going haywire in a peaceful village where a group of Federation and Son'a scientists are doing secretive study, in a cloaked researched facility on the .Bak'u village and their planet's interesting rings. They keep regenerating human blood cells so you never die. They quickly stop Data, and find out why he misfunctioned. They discovered that a Son'a (supposedly an ally) shot him to protect somethink from being found out. They soon find a cloaked ship that has a holodeck re-creation of the Bak'u village, and it is obvious why. Picard then decides to try to stop the Son'a plan to absorb the rings regenerative ability, and use it for othr means. This would destroy all life on the planet for many many years. Picard then beams down to the planet, and leads the inhabitants of the village to a mountain with a high concentrate of something that prevents the use of transporters. They make it safely (most of them) with the help of transport inhibiters. Some of the villigers got beamed out by the Son'a with Isolenear Tags, designed to latch on a tag, so they can get a transporter lock on them. In the end, almost all them get hit by the tags (including Picard). On the head Son'a ship, Picard convinces the ships first officer to stop what their doing, and with his help, Picard destroys the ring-absorber.

My Review:

Music:The music is great. I really like classical music, so this was a big time enjoyment for me. Just totally pleasant. 5/5
Enjoyability:
It was enjoyable. The beginning scene was entertaining, and it had good parts, but too many slow ones.4.5
Plot:
The plot was very predictable, along with a bit of  cheesiness. 2.5/5
Overall:
It's an ok movie, but it's not worth seeing over and over again like First Contact was. 3/5
