Star Trek III: The Search for Spock Summary: This movie begins with the battle ravaged Enterprise heading to a spacedock for repairs after a battle against Khan in the previous movie. Everyone is just trying to get used to everything when Kirk recieves a call from security saying that Spock's quarters have been broken into. Kirk goes to investigate only to find Doctor McCoy totally deranged with Spock's memories saying he needs to go back to Vulcan. When they reach spacedock they find out many bad things: One, Starfleet Command wont let Kirk take McCoy to Vulcan, even though that there is a possibility that Spock could be ressurected. Kirk, being who he is, disobeys Starfleet's orders and steals the Enterprise right out of spacedock and heads for the Genesis planet, where they left Spock. When they reach the Genesis planet, the bridge crew run into some trouble when they encouter a Klingon bird of prey. Kirk has to self-destruct the Enterprise to kill off most of the Klingon crew and save his. Spock is on the planet alive but looks like a child. Kirk finds a way to capture the BOP and take Spock to Vulcan. Once they arrived, they handed Spock over to the Vulcans to do their ritual and revive Spock. |

Music: The music was satisfactory. It kind of kept the theme from Wrath of Khan, but with a twist. 4/5 Enjoyability: It kept you going if you were seeing it for the first time. 3/5 Plot: I thought the plot was great, but very predictable. 3/5 Overall: It was really enjoyable and kept you watching it, if it was your first time, but for watching it again it is nit what you want to see. There were a few good parts though. 3.5/5 |
