June 4, 1982. A huge box office hit that really deserved it. A great movie with Kirk's arch-enemy 'Khan'!

Summary:
     This movie begins with a vulcan taking the Kobyasha Maru test. Her name is Saavik. She fails the test miserably and learns an important lesson by 'Admiral Kirk'.
     Elsewhere, on board the USS Reliant, a Miranda class vessel, Commander Pavel Chekov and his captain are beaming down to a planet for an experiment to help the Genesis project out. On the planet they did not find what they were looking for, they found something else.....Khan.
      Meanwhile, on the Enterprises', Admiral Kirk gets a message from his old wife, Dr. Carol Marcus telling him that the USS Reliant is on it's way to take Genesis. The communication is swiftly broken up.
       Kirk has to take command over the Enterprise and set course for the Genesis Research station.
       En route, he encounters the Reliant on an intercept course to the Enterprise. The crew is caught by suprise as the Reliant fires on the defenseless Enterprise, crippling it nearly dead. Kirk improvises and punches in Reliants command codes to make the ship drop it's shields. The plan works and hurts the Reliant as it runs away.
        Kirk and crew discover Khan wants Genesis for himself and want to get his revenge on Kirk. Khan soon gets Genesis and makes an attemp to finish off the Enterprise. The Enterprise runs into the Mutara nebula to even the odds. Both ships beat up each othere for awile, until the Enterprise gets some nice shots off and 100% cripples the Reliant. Khan, having such a need for his revenge, activates the Genesis device inside the Reliant. The Enterprises warp engines are offline. Spock, decides to run down to Engineering and sacrifice himself for the crew. He gets the job done and the Enterprise starts to head home.

Music: The music was spectacular!  5/5
Enjoyability: Very enjoyable and action-packed. 4.5/5
Plot: Excellent plot to bring Khan onto the big screen. The story never left me bored once. 4.5/5
Overall: The second best Star Trek film I have ever seen. And among other movies it rates high. I really loved the space battle scenes and everyhting about this movie! 4.7/5 .
