Her Poetry To Me
That Letter
I wrote this letter in December
never knowing what would be
But I'm so glad I wrote that letter
cause it changed my life and made me believe
For so long my world was lonely
no one I knew seemed right for me
Happiness was rarely true
but ever since I started talking to you
My brown eyes are no longer blue
and every second we're together
It seems the time flies by too soon
I wish it could go on forever
cause in my mind thoughts of you do
Having you in my world
is something I never want to lose
You're a really special person
and you give me so much to look forward to
I dont know what I'd do without you
my blue sky would turn to gray
I'm so lucky to have found you
we're alike in so many ways
I guess I was meant to write that letter
it's the best thing I ever did
Cause since then things have been so much better
because of you I want to live
All I Need
You rescued my dream from the endless night
You brought all my wishes to life
All that was wrong your love makes right
In a world of darkness you're my only light
I'm so thankful to have found you
And I know it was meant to be
I hold every moment spent around you
In my heart for eternity
It's so hard to believe
That I've finally found the one for me
It must have been destiny
How else could this be
You give me so much
And make me so happy
If I could have anything in this world
Whatever I would please
I wouldn't ask for a thing
Cause all I ever need
I've already received
And that's your love unconditionally
I Believe In Dreams Now
There's been a lot of dreams that never did come true
A lot of promises broken in two
But all that changed when I found you
You are the dream that I thought wouldn't see the light
You are my brightest star in the blackest night
All the wishes that were not granted
Now I see why, something better had been planted
It took a few years for this love to show
But now that I have you I will never let go
You are the ending I needed to begin
You bring me everything that I lack within
All the tears from years gone by
Now they have a meaning when I look into your eyes
It was all meant to be, and I can finally see
You're so perfect for me
In every single way, every single day
My heart is filled with love and joy
Because I found you, when you were right there all along
And I know destiny must be the reason for this bond
I believe in dreams now, all because of you
I've always known what I wanted
And thanks to you it has come true
