Personal History:
Lord Jerome Nicholas Kulmsted was the first of three children, with two younger sisters (the youngest died of influenza at the age of 5). As a young man he was an intelligent young man with the heart of an explorer and a mind for adventure. His was schooled according to the customs of the time, excelling in sports and the arts, botany and minerology. After completing his education, Kulmsted toured the continent and made one trip to the new colonies in America. While the voyage to America was not nearly so eventful, the ship was nearly lost on the trip back (Had it done so on the trip to America he might have stayed there) - this caused Kulmsted to have a general discomfort of sailing.
The near disastrous voyage Kulmsted's thirst for adventure and he determined to stay firming on English soil, commiting himself to business affairs and social obligations. Though after six months of boring society parties and surveying his holdings Kulmsted grew bored which was why he was particularity interested in the offer Sir Percy Blakeney made him - a opportunity for adventure and sport which he took to with great enthusiasm.
Unknown to the rest of the League, while retrieving intelligence for the League, Kulmsted was captured, imprisoned and tortured for weeks, during which time he was convinced that his teammates had abandoned him to his fate. When he finally got free, Kulmsted was determined to pay his chief back for the betrayal he experienced.
