our mission.

The members of Team Lovin' vow to work together sharing responsibilities and tasks as equally as possible. The team will put thought into which person is best suited to complete each task. The team will also offer help to those who are struggling. If one team member falls behind, it is the responsibility of the entire team to help them. Each member of Team Lovin' needs to maintain open lines of communication with the rest of the team. If one member thinks something is unfair, he needs to tell the rest of the team his opinion. Team Lovin' wants to develop friendships aside from the workload, they will strive to have relationships outside the classroom.

policies & regulations.

The team decided the first and one of the most important policies that they need to put in effect would be how to find a leader. Each member of the team will vote for a leader, and that person must accept the responsibilities bestowed upon him. To dispose of a leader the rest of the team will need to vote, and come to a unanimous decision.

It will be the job of the leader to organize the team, and to keep the members in line. The leader's role will be to delegate assignments, and to split up the workload evenly. It will also be the task of the leader to have team members working in areas where they are most comfortable. For example it does not make sense to have a member who is talented with the creation of websites doing an oral presentation. The team leader will be the one who facilitates discussion among the rest of the team.

In addition to the team leader, there will be a person who is second in command. It is the role of this person to organize group meetings and keep the group members informed of these meetings.

There will also be a treasurer who will be in charge of keeping track of all the bonus points earned. The treasurer will also be in charge of distributing the bonus points equally to team members. Team Lovin' has also elected to have a secretary. This person will take notes at every group meeting. The secretary will also keep track of what task each individual team member is completing.

In general there are some things the team wants all of its members to be aware of: if the team has a meeting and a team member is unable to attend, the team expects that member to let the rest of the team know before the meeting takes place. The team will have the same policy with meeting deadlines. Not complying with this policy is grounds for dismissal. The members of Team Lovin' vow meet at least once before the deadline of any group project. This meeting will be used to see where each member of the team stands, and to come together on the project. The team also wants it to be made clear that the work will be divided. The team will be divided into smaller teams that rotate, and work together to submit the final project. For example when an assignment is assigned one person will be in charge of putting every person's part together, and another person will be in charge of reading it over and proofreading it. This will all happen before the project is turned in, and as a team, Team Lovin' feels it will add to the quality of their work.

The team also decided that they would need a policy for removing team members from the group. Any member of the team can be removed for going against the team's mission statement. Team members can be removed from the team, but only after a unanimous vote by the others. However, before a vote can take place the team leader needs to attempt to convince the person to shape up, get their work done, and have a general respect for the other members of the group.

Team Lovin' also decided that a policy for the distribution of bonus points was important. Because equality is an integral part of the mission statement of Team Lovin', the team has decided to divide the bonus points equally. If the bonus points do not divide evenly, the points will be put into a group pool. At the end of the semester if the points do not divide evenly, straws will be drawn to see who gets the extra points. If a person is kicked out of the group they will take their already won bonus points with them when they leave.

Regarding decision-making, every member of Team Lovin' will have an equal say. Issues will be debated, and decisions will be made based on a group consensus. Team Lovin' feels if the lines of communication remain open, and each person does their share to help the team to run smoothly, the team will be a success.
