Dave was born in Rochester, NY on May 6, 1982. When he was two, his father was transferred to England, enabling him to spend nearly five years of his childhood in a
suburb of London. With easy access to all of Europe, he was fortunate to spend much of his
stay abroad vacationing in other countries, soaking up all the historical sights that Europe has
to offer. In 1989, he returned to upstate New York in the same house he had first lived in. His
father's love of sports was certainly one thing he inherited, as from a young age he was
involved in any sport he could be signed up for. In the long run, football and baseball
continued and still continue to be a big influence on his life. Whether it is playing for an
organized team, watching on TV, or seeing events in person, Dave loves to be a part of the
exciting atmosphere provided by his favorite sports.
After a successful high school career, Dave decided to attend Boston College mainly because
of its academic reputation and its beautiful campus. The proximity to the city of Boston was
what put it over the top, though. As a freshman, he lived on Newton Campus, in Hardey
House. Here he made a new group of great friends who he decided to live with again his
sophomore year. Dave currently lives off campus as a sophomore as one of eight guys living in
two four-person apartments. When he is not lounging around with his friends in his apartment
or getting involved with sports, he spends most of his time listening to musicsomething for
which he has little natural ability, but does have passion stronger than most. Otherwise,
writing and forming friendships are two of the things he enjoys most out of life's adventures. |
