I rescued Maggie from the streets. She was a puppy that had been dumped at a shopping center and no one wanted to go near her because of her breed. She was very frightened and shaking. She took to me and I to her and has been with me and my Rott/Husky mix (Molly) for two years now. Molly accepted her as her baby and Maggie took to Molly as her mommy. They are the cutest site together although people look at me funny when I walk the two of them. I take them to Petsmart and people give me dirty looks even though they are well behaved and social. Other dogs bark, growl, and lunge at them, and they just walk without even tugging on the leash. I just laugh. My dogs are the sweetest, most loving animals and very good with children, other animals, and people.

I have 3 Am. Staffs. My son brought the first one home about 4 years ago. We acquired another one from a friend that was moving. She was albino and deaf. She had a litter of 5 pups and 2 of them were albino and deaf. At 3 weeks old my puppies became rphins. Someone left the gate open and momma got out and was hit by a car and I became a surrogate mother. I raised all 5 puppies, but when it came time for them to go to new homes, I could only let 3 of them go. I had to keep the male that looked like his mother and the runt. My babies are now 2 years old. They have become my father-in-laws babies too. They follow him everywhere he goes, they sleep in his room and in his favorite chair. They are great with my 2-year old grandson too. I commend tho e that are out there trying to save and find homes for these wonderfully, intelligent and caring dogs.

We got our Pit from the owner of both of here parents. Her Name is Mouna. She is sweet and a real love but I wouldn't want to be on her bad side! She weighs 70 lbs and she is very strong. We love her and she gets along very well with our other dog and ou 2 cats. We worked hard to see that she understood her place in the pack! It's a big responsibility owning a pit but a rewarding one!

How do you like this site?: You probably want to change the introduction where it refers to the "pitbull" as being other breeds or mixes besides the American Pit Bull Terrier. Dogs are cute and appear to be purebred, though you handle them daily so I trust your judgement.
