England and Scotland

If you are expecting the usual scrapbook of pictures that include all the famous landmarks of England and Scotland, you may be surprised.  Our scrapbook is made up of the sights that we found charming, beautiful, or unusual as we moved about the country.  (And we chose the pictures that we liked best from nearly 300 that we brought home with us.) 

  We visited the famous spots;  London, Cambridge, Stratford on Avon, Warwick Castle, Nottingham, and Lincoln in England.  Our residence in England was at the Barnsdale Country Club near Oakham on Rutland Waters, and some of our most precious memories are from our time there.

In Scotland we visited Oban, Kilmartin Glen, Fort William, Glenfinnan, the Isles of Mull and Iona, and we spent some lovely days just enjoying ourselves at Melfort Village where we were staying.
