Lets look at the stats: Defensive rankings: Sacks NFL rank (32) dead last...TO produced  25 NFL rank (22) INT 14 NFL rank (22) : Offensive rankings:  Carr 3500yards, 16TD 14Int, sacked 49 times. All unacceptable! As far as The FA pickup of Morlon Greenwood is concerned, good move.  Sharper will demand too much money for his age...2004 Greenwood 129tkls - Sharper 139tkls.  4.5 mil per year for Greenwood for five years..Greenwood is four years younger.  I think its time to let Glenn  and Coleman go.  My second free agent signing will be Fred Smoot.  Smoot and Robinson at CB will be a good one for years to come.  There are no good DL in FA and the draft is thin at DL.  So walker lives another year.  All other needs will be addressed via the draft.  Our safties suck...The LB are avg and the DL is useless.  The 3-4 is suppose to be an aggressive defense yet we are last in sacks and below avg in turn-overs.  Babin did ok for a rookie...but not worth the 4 draft picks it took to get him. Peek needs to come on with it...I think he will if he stays injury free.  Our DL can't move the line...they need to go.  Move Robaire Smith to NT and get me some DE that can get to the QB.  I think Carr could be better, but, he was sacked a league high 49 times!  They seem to be getting better every year.  I mean, its a far cry from 76 trips to the ground....here is my plan!

The Trades
Of course I don't agree with the McGrady trade,  just like the Texans they gave up too much!  We got unproven Gaines, bench player Lue, and aging Howard with that crazy contract!  We gave them two young studs in Francis and Mobley.  Mobley can give you 20pts a night and play some good defense.  Fancis is not called the fanchise for nothing.  McGrady was leaving orlando, period!  If they would have got Gooden PF and Nelson PG  as well, I would say ok.  You have potential in Nelson and Gooden.  Kato only has two years left on his contract, Howard has over 5 at 5.5 million. They have also aquired Jon Barry for Lue?  Then top that off with Jim Jackson and Nacbar for Wesley, a 6 foot SG? Yet there is more, we just aquired Rod Strickland, a 38 year old loser.   We now have the Oldest team in the league. Here is my plan for 2005-2006.  2006 we draft Greg Oden C.  This year we comb the NBDL for diamonds in the rough.  I also need to free up money for free agents.  Get me Phil Jackson on tha phone! Trade 2 will be done befor the deadline and Walker will be allowed to walk after the season. My 2 first round picks will go on a Center and Power Forward.  The two second round picks will be on a small forward and shooting guard, (backups)
