Really, this code DOES work! I swear! Hunt me down if it doesn't (Well, don't, really) This is how you can catch Mew. TESTED!!!!!!!!! It worked on my Pokemon Blue. I'm not so sure about Pokemon Yellow. Okay, Here's how:
Requirements:
A: The Youngster with a Slowpoke on the way to Bill's house was never fought (He only has 1 pokemon, and is facing upward.
B: The gambler in Route 8 that's just in front of the Underground Path (He's facing forward)
C: You must have a level 17 or higher Grass type pokemon (Must have a Grass type move)
D: A Pokemon that knows FLY.
E: A level 10 or lower Pokemon (to combat Mew).
F: The ability to FLY to Lavender Town, Cerulean City, and Celadon City.
1. Go to the entrance of the Underground Passage at Route and save, but don't enter. Stand right in front of the door, then take one step down. Press start as soon as you step down. If you are successful, the Gambler didn't notice you.
2. Use FLY and go to Cerulean City. The gambler will notice you, but he will not fight you.
3. The start button isn't working. Go up the Nugget Bridge and go right. Keep going until you see a Youngster facing upward. Go upward all the way and go right so he will walk up to you to battle. If you come close to him, the game will crash. Beat him. Now you can pause. Fly to Lavender Town.
4. Head left to Route 8. The start screen will come up by itself. Do not save. Press B. Then a Pokemon will attack you. It is a level 7 Mew. Go on and catch it.
5. Run around and scream, "I CAUGHT A MEW WITHOUT SHARKING OR GLITCHING!!!!!" If possible, go onto a chat room or go up to your friends and rub it in their faces!
