Welcome To Dale's "WRITINGS FROM THE HEART"

Well not much is going on here in Marysville, Ca..
I have been living here since 1991, when I moved from Sacramento.
With being disabled, I don't
do too much around here.
If I'm not taking care of things around here (the 3 dogs) or running around town, I'm writing poetry.
I started writing in 1985. I have around 100 poems on many different subjects and peoples names.
I will give you a peek at some of them.
 Dare To Dream
 by Dale Everett
Dear to dream your dreams.
For you show your imagination of tomorrow through your dreams.
Dare to fulfill your dreams of tomorrow.
For we are the builders of our tomorrows.
Where would we be today without, Yesterdays dreamers who took the dare.
For the only possible way of a worth while tomorrow is,
Simply for us to

     True Love

by Dale Everett

True love is defined in the following ways.
True love says, "I'm sorry for the stupied things that may have started an argument that should not have been."
True love says, "I will try my hardest to keep my Ego out of our way."
True love says "No matter the cost, I Will Be There For You."
True love says "I forgive you when you mess up."
Most of all True Love says,
"I will love you unconditionally no matter what you do."
            A Path To Your Past
                                       by Dale Everett

As we go through life many things go on.
How we deal with them helps us through,
others that come our way
There may be things that we forget or push away
To be dealt with at a later date.
Later in life when we feel that all is well,
Something may happen or be heard that opens a path.
A Path To your Past.
When we walk down this path it is nice to have a special
person with us on our side.
Someone to lean on, to give us support when the way gets rough.
Don't walk this path if you have to be the leader, for the follower
may stumble and push you off the path.
This path is into your past, walk the path at the speed right for you.
Rest when you need to for, you are walking on

  LADY DIANA
                          by Dale Everett

Loved by millions more than ever known.
Always helping those in dire need.
Doing what you felt should be done.
Your life never to be in vain.

During your life you changed the worlds' perception.
Involving your self in cause's others won't touch.
Allowing those to touch you, Showing You Do Care.
Never to be forgotten the short life you shared with all.
And now the time has come for your privacy.

*                              A TRUE FRIEND
                                                                by Dale Everett

Friends are someone that everyone needs, No matter what some may say.
A friend is someone to run around with. To enjoy the fleeting minutes of the day.
A True Friend is someone willing:
Willing to sit with you, when there is nothing to do.
Willing to take you when you've errands to run.
Willing to cry with you in moments of sorrow.
Willing to laugh with you in moments of gladness.
Willing to cheer you when you are blue.
Willing to go out on a limb for you, knowing that it might break.
Willing to help you no matter the cost.
Willing to take you as you are. Not trying to change you.
Most of all, A True Friend is someone willing:
Willing to Forgive, Forget, and Love you still when things go wrong.
                                    That Is A
                                               "True Friend."
      To Soar On Eagle Wings
                              by Dale Everett

To be as high as the Eagles soar in all of their majesty.
Watching all that goes on from a different point of view.
Detached from the pain and strife.
Having the time to think things over in a clear uncluttered mind.
Soaring over the rocks and tranquil streams.
Making decisions that will last.
Oh to have the Wings Of An Eagle
      To Soar Where Eagles Dare
                            SAN JUAN

Skills are taught here that will last a lifetime
Allowed to manifest, they will stay with us to be used to survive    No one that comes through these halls will be denied

Journeys through the minds of all students past and present
Ultimately may lead to new thoughts to enrich the future
Always encourage each student to reach for their full potential
Never telling them they won't amount to anything good
