The direct ophthalmoscope is how the doctor can detect a problem in your child's eyes and refer you to the doctor with the indirect ophthalmoscope early enough that it can still be treated...before they go blind, loose an eye; or in the case of retinoblastoma, have their precious life jeopardized. |
