[T]he Fairy Tale
on the 27th June 2004, April first met Linus, her long time online friend, offline for the first time. April then was nursing a broken heart from her 7 years long relationship, and Linus was cheering her up each night (and before her friends started complaining, so were her friends, who were also trying to cheer her up each night.). Somehow, the shy April could feel at ease with Linus.. That night was her close friend's birthday party, and in the afternoon, April was chatting with Linus as usual, telling him to come fetch her home. Surprisingly, Linus took it for real, and he came to fetch April home.
They went Changi with Jonanthan, his friend, chatted and admired men in girls' clothing. They went Changi Airport nearby and amazed themselves with planes taking off, and landing. They blasted the music, and enjoyed the night. They sent Jonanthan home, and Linus started on the long journey to April's home. They ended up chatting in the car until 3am, about everything. April found her heart falling for Linus, but she decided that, she was just confused, and still hurting from her failed relationship.
Then Linus kissed her.
For one week, April was confused, and afraid. She was not clear what was happening for things were moving too fast. Her mind was still full of her ex, with a mix of Linus here and there... She continued to chat with Linus online, but still remained as the friends they were. She pretended the kiss never happened...
Then they arranged to meet up again for a suntanning one week later, on the 3rd of July 2004, with Jonanthan. They were just friends, chatting and this and that. Then they were waiting for a taxi, and they managed to "cheat" Jonanthan into standing at the queue while they, Linus, April and Ricky went to stand at one corner, chatting.
Then. Linus held her hand, and her confusion disappeared and she falls in love.
And the fairy tale just get sweeter each day.
The first month was honey filled.
The second month is chocolate pie.
The third month will cause you toothache.
And together we will celebrate our 29th month, and many more months to come.
I love you darling, more and more each day. ♥
