| Ms. Andrews has written an array of children's books over the years. Her first book, Mandy, which was published in 1971, was written when she lost a bet to her daughter, Jennifer. She went on to write The Last of the Really Great Whangdoodles in 1976, and has recently started a series of books about a small cat named Bonnie Boadicea, the Little Bo series, which is illustrated by Henry Cole. In her latest series, the Dumpy series, she collaborates with her daughter, Emma Walton Hamilton, and Emma's father, Tony Walton. The stories tell of Dumpy's adventures around the farm and within the community. Ms. Andrews' new imprint, The Julie Andrews Collection, was launched September 2003, with a mandate to release at least 8 books per year.
