The Swedish Warmblood was bred originally as a calvery horse of above average quality. The breed decends from Spanish, oriental, and friesian stallions imported some 300 years ago, and is the result of carefully supervised breeding politics. The Swedish Warmblood is a big, imposing horse. It is sound, of good conformation, and has a sencible temperament, which maks it particularly suitablel for dressage. It is also in demand for jumping, eventing, and driving. |
