The Missouri Fox Trotter is an american gaited breed. The most noticable chacteristic is the comfortable, surefooted, sliding gait that produces very little movement in the back. The horse walks with spirited action in front while trotting with hindlegs. Over short distances, the famous Fox Trot gait produces speeds of 10 mph. |
