| "White Lilies of Love" The sweet perfume of white Lilies Against a cool Spring ocean breeze, Influentially dancing in the wind Strumming our heartstrings to appease, Both you and I on a sunny afternoon We walked through a delicate bed of flowers, And picked so many white Lilies so sweet Standing majestically after April showers, Lay to rest puddles of rain on the landscape As the Earth soaked up the sun so amiably, With the unblemished sunlight upon both of us We could see the laughter in our eyes graciously, While watching butterflies flutter in the sky You leaned over to give me a soft tender kiss, And handed me a bunch of white Lilies so fair My pulsating heart raced with feelings of bliss, The night has fallen and the Lilies are in a vase In my bedroom by candlelight I write these lines, They adorn and perfume my room delectably Forever my darling you will always be mine, Easter has come and gone away once again Our true love has been renewed on this gorgeous day, We will tuck away these melodic memories forever In our hearts and souls our love will reign always.
