| My Papa You may not be around as often as I would prefer But I understand that you do what must be done Sometimes your strict sense of responsibility is the source of my anger But nonetheless, I am proud to be your son. You proclaim that you may not be the best father And that your sole purpose is to put food on our table and clothes on our backs But you are more than just a provider, You have revealed to me the value of family and your integrity in no way lacks. You force me through untried doors And you're always lending a helping hand, Leading me through swamps and moors You are constantly helping me stand. I love you for who you are and all that you do, Thanking for always caring and always being you. Clay Tang 03 June 2003 Richmond,Canada |
