| How shall I describe thee To what can I compare The beauty set before me now The words cannot be found Your loveliness astounds me Before you I'm amazed Your smile is like the Morning sun Brighter than the day How shall I describe thee Such elegance and grace True poetry in motion In satins silks and lace More lovely than The April flowers And twilight's color scheme The essence of true beauty My love you are to me How shall I describe thee My dear I'm just a man Beset with lips that stammer As in your light I stand I see you as a shining star Your radiance covers me You fill my heart It over flows You make my life complete How shall I describe thee The words cannot be found Such loveliness cannot be told Cannot be written down A song I would compose for you You cause my heart to sing But where to find the lyrics Perhaps a day in spring How shall I describe thee This lovely winter's eve As snow falls ore the meadowland And white replaces green Your fairer than the moonlight Exotic warm and free So far beyond my world tonight How shall I speak of thee Penned By,Robert Madron Florida (c) Robert Madron 2003 |
