This life portrait of me by Tom is one of my most treasured possessions. He did a number of them, but this I feel this one captures the tension and the fun in our relationship. He always made one of my eyes bigger than the other, saying I was always watching and monitoring him.

The long neck was another one of his stylisations, which he put on all his life-models.
