Sin will turn your soul to a pillar of salt. A statue with no feeling. Dead, lifeless, & empty, your fellowship with God is disrrupted by a corruptness that HE just cannot look upon.
"O, but when the sweet blanket of grace enfolds you with tender conviction and God's mercy & lovingkindness grip your soul"! Well, you read on and see...."

Loss of purpose
No desire,
Slowly sinking in sin's foul mire,
I feel the viperous sting of death
As numbingly it grips my soul.
Twas not my plan to come "this" way,
It's costing more than I can pay.
The light of peace around me fades,
Replaced by doubt, despair & shame.
I feel to this there is no end,
As sorrow all around descends.
My guilty heart accepts its fate,
Yet deep within my soul there remains,
That faithful, still, small voice that says
"LO....I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS"!
The spark of faith that never left,
GRACE held me fast within its cleft,
With humble heart & weeping tones,
At last I tell HIM, "I was wrong"...
Cleansing overwhelms inside,
My soul washed o'er by Mercy's tide.
Peace and hope are born anew,
Forgiveness clearly now in view.
I have no doubts, HIS love I see,
As through Christ, repentance comes to me!
