[It's time for a release of feelings for two lover's...]
Amber eyes gazed into blue eyes as the inu hanyou & ookami youkai locked gazes across the field. Their scents had drawn them to each other & this time, there was no need to fight, for the only fighting would be for dominance. Inu Yasha & Koga had come into heat at the same time & the strength of the heat scent had drawn them to each other.
Koga stared at Inu Yasha, someone he pretended to hate in front of a female because of the pack laws that stated no males could be together unless they had a female to breed with & contribute to the pack with. Those rules had molded over time to form into the current one, the one most recently set by Koga�s late father; no male could be together as mates, or as lovers.
He had pretended to hate the hanyou for as long as he could, but now with his heat having arrived, he would no longer hold back his feelings for this hanyou that stood before him with no hands on the Tetsusaiga. He was nowhere near the pack & he knew well enough that he was too far away for his scent to be followed for a few days if they were lucky enough to follow his direction & stay on the right path. But to be safe, he had made sure to retrace over his steps, crossing paths, & otherwise making it so only he would know the right way back.
He knew there would be no interruptions & he was going to enjoy these moments to the fullest, so he could have something to look back on should he continue to follow his late father�s set rules.
Inu Yasha returned Koga�s stare, for he too had merely pretended to hate the ookami youkai for the sake of rules in his life. His father had always told him that males were not meant to be together unless both of them were infertile, so not to waste perfectly good seed. Plus he had to think about Kagome�s feelings for him, that would be hurt severely should he take someone as his mate aside from her. He knew she could never fully understand, her feelings would get in the way & it would only cause trouble for them & everyone else involved with the ningen & hanyou.
He was unsure what to think as Koga slowly approached him, his hands hanging loosely at his sides as a sign of truce so there would be no uncertainty of his approaching. When they were only a few inches apart, the scents mingling together created such an intoxicating smell for then hanyou & youkai that they found themselves inhaling as much of the air as they could.
Slowly, unsurely Koga moved his face closer to Inu Yasha�s own face before he kissed the hanyou gingerly, awaiting to see what would happen. He was ready to back away, should the hanyou react with distaste; but he was also ready to move closer, should the hanyou draw him closer. Koga felt a wave of relief wash over him as Inu Yasha drew him closer & held onto him tightly, deepening the kiss with the same need that could be felt in his hold.
Inu Yasha was unsure of the thoughts going through his head, but for now he would push them aside & enjoy this time with Koga while he could. And Koga set aside all thoughts of the pack, of his comrades, & of any future mates that could never amount to what Inu Yasha was to him, as he let himself melt against Inu Yasha.
As Koga & Inu Yasha began to allow their heats to take over, Koga said a silent prayer to the Gods above to let the events to follow, happen without any interruptions or complications. He wanted every moment of this pairing to count, & he wanted to leave a nice memory for Inu Yasha as well.
