| History: Marking A New Beginning Back in the year of 2000, eight young ladies (Ishmael Akers, Andra Gaines, Brittany Graeber,Crystal Harris, Brittney Johnson, Jorice Johnson, LaToya Johnson, and Brittany Stephen) decided to create a sorority of all sororities. Lader these young ladies were introduced to the Chi Sigma Chapter of the Rhoer Club of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc. under the lleadership of Griena Knigh. As the year past, fifteen young ladies (Shunterika Adams, Courtney Allen, Arlesha Atmore, Crystal Collins, Arliscia Dial, LiConstance Hayes, April Hunter, Christina Jefferson, Denise Love, Leontay Miles, Ashley Norris, Brittany Talley, Jamesha Thomas, Octavia Townsend, and Rel'Lecia Washington) came to a agreement_and decided to part from the Rhoer Club better known as Chi Sigma Rho. So on August 24, 2003, these elegant young ladies became the Chi Sigma Chapter of Alpha Sigma Omega High School Sorority, Inc. Alpha Sigma Omega was the rib broken off from Chi Sigma Rho like Eve was the rib of Adam. .We are the rebirth from an older legend revived to create a new one. We will never forget where we came from. The past cannot be changed, the future is still in our power. Alpha was established by eight young ladies who strive to begin the perfect sorority Sigma is what the sorority derived from in an older legend. Omega signifies the ending of all corruptions and confusion that the sorority experienced in the past. |
