| there is a great radiance warming through me its so bright, its the star of my dream pulsating through my chest and caressing my heart the most joyous song will surely from my lips depart for once rational thought is not first in line i want to run, to be free for the rest of time a lifetime of chains have been finally broken and a heart-full of great emotions are being spoken though i fear it wont remain till tomorrow through your reflecting self, i've only got now to spread these wings of color and prove my worth cause i know you, burning everything with your foolish torch yet you don't have the slightest clue; slightest truth for there is a utopia of serenity thats anything but you it has found me, don't you see it; tell me you see it i don't need you pitiful hero, you fell in the dirt feel it, its bright; so bright, its warming my blood and over the horizon, there you are; beginning your unjust flood of tears; of anger; of sorrow--with you there is no freedom none in which one should live it, for with you i fear that i am done radiant this freedom light is to my darkened heart yet you shut it off before my song, from my lips,- departs |
