| I've been looking through a glass Filled with sand of forever time I watch as the grains come to pass And all I see is your face fading into mine Fragile and breathless, seconds turn Going until a minute becomes an apathetic hour Hours fall away, unlived and craving the burn One made by lifes deepest and most sacred power So much time has been carelessly wasted Time forever gone; the hourglass cannot be turned over And I've been looking, trying to recall how living tasted So much thirst lays within my heart, to satisfy could take forever And as i watch the grains of forever time fall away All I can see is your face fading into the grey |
