| Distorted are the colors I see Its a mixture of then and now A blur of everything I've come to be I can't help but wonder, 'how?' Black it goes as my eyes shut I wish to be blinded and left to remain The worries leave my bloody gut As I lay forever poetically slain White, oh how white it's coming to be My heart beats wildly, telling me I'm still alive And like a miracle you've come to me Taking away this crimson smeared knife Black and white my pages were Until you brought the color through and through I was so close to traveling somewhere there But I have reason to stay and thats you Thank you, artist Forever yours, poet |
