Movie Review: Justin
Devon plays Suki, whose paint job on her Honda S2000 is probably worth more than the car.
Suki attracts the opportunists, ya know, the dudes who ain't stupid enough to take on the experienced street racers with the huge reps... nope, they're seeking out ambitious suckers.
Their eyes light up when they see Suki, a girl, yeah a girl in a wimpy pink car... easy pickings.
Yep, as we sit there eating our popcorn, we all know that these guys are gonna get hustled... but we wanna see it anyway. Midway through the race, Suki hits her hidden switch that activates her secret space shuttle engine (or whatever) then we see the real suckers get their comeuppance.
I'm not too sure how crucial Devon's 'Watch Me Slowly Get Out Of My Car' scene was... but it was greatly appreciated.
We observe the parked Honda S2000. The door opens. Long luscious legs slowly protrude. The Cameraman ain't stupid... he zooms right in. As female viewers around the world roll their eyes and shake their heads, we guys have got some serious ogling happening here. Devon's' endless legs fill the screen as we instantly appreciate why 'stop frame' and 'slow-mo' are featured on remote controls. Yep, definitely one of the most impressive scenes in the history of cinematography.
For the most part of the movie Devon is merely eye candy, she has no significant role in what the producers mysteriously refer to as a plot.
But '2 Fast 2 Furious' launched Devon from the catwalk to the big screen thereby introducing her to a vast international audience.
